Local Teams End Regular Season; Look Ahead to Playoffs

Perry Hall, Dundalk, Parkville, Sparrows Point and Patapsco end their regular seasons with wins as they are headed to the playoffs. Chesapeake and Eastern Tech finish their seasons with losses.

Perry Hall 46 Kenwood 6
After losing two straight games, the Gators bounced back on Homecoming to defeat Kenwood.
The Bluebirds finish the regular season at 1-9 and play at Catonsville in the 4A/3A playoffs.
Perry Hall is also in the 4A/3A playoffs and receive a first-round bye as the top seed in the region.
The Gators will host the winner of Dulaney/Digital Harbor in the second round.

Parkville 60 Eastern Tech 7
The Knights have won three games in a row after beating Eastern Tech. Parkville is 5-4 and will play at Glen Burnie in the first round of the 4A playoffs. If Parkville wins, they would play at Broadneck in the second round.
Eastern Tech’s season ends at 2-7.

Dundalk 41 Catonsville 6
The Owls close the regular season with a big win at Catonsville. Dundalk will host Meade in the first-round of the playoffs. They would play the Annapolis-North County winner in the next round if they beat Meade.

New Town 40 Overlea 0
The Falcons lost their second straight game to finish at 5-4 on the regular season. Overlea will take a third seed in the 3A playoffs and will host Poly. If they defeat Poly, they would play the Franklin-Aberdeen winner the next round.

Patapsco 27 Pikesville 6
The Patriots are now 4-6 after a dominate road win at Pikesville. Patapsco will open up the 2A playoffs at New Town.

Sparrows Point 31 Lansdowne 14
Don’t look now but Sparrows is getting hot after a road win in Lansdowne. The Pointers have won three straight and open up the 2A/1A playoffs at home against North East. If they win, they would play at Fallston in the second round.

Western Tech 38 Chesapeake 12
The Bayhawks season comes to an end as they lose at Western Tech. Chesapeake won their opener but lost the rest of their games to finish at 1-9.
