Middle River Softball announced that coach Gary Yeager died on Friday.
“Middle River Softball is deeply saddened to share that our longtime coach and friend, Gary Yeager, passed away yesterday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. Coach Gary meant so much to our softball family — his dedication and love for the game touched countless players, families, and coaches over the years. Coach Gary was also the proud father of Coach Brandon and Grandfather of Maicee Yeager. We keep their entire family close in our hearts during this difficult time, ” said a statement from Middle River Softball on Saturday.
“Please keep Coach Gary, Coach Brandon, and their family in your thoughts and prayers as we remember and honor a special member of our MRGS softball.”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 2:00 pm at Sylvester’s Saloon.
