Kenwood, Overlea and Chesapeake continue to pick up wins. Patapsco wins it second straight and Sparrows Point is upset.
Western 12 Sparrows Point 7
Sparrows Point loses at home to Western Tech in a shocker. Western Tech took a 12-7 lead early in the second half and Sparrows Point had multiple drives into Tech territory, including at the 15 with 17 seconds left in the games. The Pointers ran three plays but couldn’t score as time expired.
Sparrows Point only score came from a Paxton Clark interception return for a touchdown.
Patapsco 30 Lansdowne 26
After starting off 0-5, Patapsco has won two straight after defeating Lansdowne at home. The Patriots look to make it three in a row when they host Chesapeake on Friday.
Kenwood 16 Perry Hall 6
Zion Dixon had a rushing touchdown and an interception return for a touchdown in a road win over Perry Hall. Kenwood will look to improve to 6-2 as they host Parkville on Friday. Perry Hall plays at Hereford
Overlea 30 Parkville 0
The Falcons improve to 3-4 after a dominating win at Parkville. Overlea looks to get to .500 as they travel to Owings Mills on Friday. Parkville will try to get their second win of the year at Kenwood.
Franklin 26 Dundalk 12
Dundalk’s four game winning streak came to an end as they lost at home to Franklin. The Owls look to bounce back at home against Dulaney.
Chesapeake 16 Pikesville 6
The Bayhawks are now 4-3 after defeating Pikesville. Chesapeake will look to clinch a winning season when they play at Patapsco on Friday.
Towson 34 Eastern Tech 7
Eastern Tech started off 4-0 but suddenly find themselves with a three-game losing streak. The Mavericks will look to get back to their winning ways at Western Tech on Thursday.
