Patapsco hosted their first home football playoff game in the 58-year history of the school, but their season came to an end in a 48-0 loss to Baltimore City College on Thursday.
City scored touchdowns on its first three drives. Patapsco finally stopped City in the second quarter when Wilson Smith recorded a tackle on third down, and John Martin sacked City’s quarterback on fourth down.

Patapsco took over on downs before the half and junior quarterback Wyatt Perry nearly connected with junior Shamar Johnson on a big play but just missed his wide receiver. Perry was sacked four times in the first half.
Patapsco had two more scoring chances in the second half.
Smith had over 45 yards rushing for Patapsco and broke off a 20-yard run. Then Perry connected with Adrian Henry for a 30 yard pass play into City territory, but the Patriots were stopped on fourth down.

Smith had a 22-yard run and Perry picked up a few rushing first downs to get the ball to the City 21, but the running clock ended the game as Patapsco was driving.
It was a big play afternoon for City. They scored on touchdown runs of 82, 70 and 61 yards.
Patapsco finishes the season 6-4.
