Perry Hall and Dundalk Advance to Football State Quarters

Perry Hall and Dundalk football teams are back in the state quarterfinals after impressive second round wins. Overlea and Sparrows Point seasons are over after road playoff defeats.

Perry Hall 29 Digital Harbor 8
After receiving a first round bye, the Gators started their playoffs with a home win over Digital Harbor of Baltimore City. Perry Hall is the top seed in the 4A/3A classification and will host Thomas S. Wootton this Friday at 5 p.m.
If the Gators continue to win, they will have home-fieĺd advantage until the 4A/3A Championship Game at Navy Stadium.

Dundalk 35 Annapolis 13
The Owls are an overall 6th seed in their 4A Classification and will likely need to win two roads games to get to Navy Stadium. Dundalk is off to a good start as they dominated Annapolis on the road. Phillip Jones had 200 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown in the win for the Owls. Dundalk plays at Wise High School on Friday.

Fallston 38 Sparrows Point 0
The Pointers season ends as they were shut out at Fallston.

Franklin 6 Overlea 0
Overlea’s defense played well but their offense was shutout in a road loss to Franklin.
