Perry Hall defeated Sparrows Point 14-7 in Girls Lacrosse as the Gators were led by Sophia Blevins’ five goals.
Reese Pinnel also had four goals and Maddy Rudolph added three goals in the home win for the Gators.

After falling behind early, the young Pointers were able to tie the game 2-2 with goals from two freshmen Madelynne Davis and Elaina Mirabile, but then the Gators went on a 6-0 run.
The Pointers have three freshman and eight sophomores that make up their roster. Five of Sparrows Point’s seven goals were scored by underclassmen.

It appeared Perry Hall was going to put the game away before halftime but Davis added two late goals to cut the Perry Hall lead down to 9-5 at the half. Davis scored all three of her goals in the first half.

Perry Hall’s defense shut down the Pointers in the second half. Gator goalie Pan Zoziera had seven saves on the day and forced a turnover.
The Pointers had two goals from senior Ava Kessel and a goal from Ava Zawadski.

Pointer goalie Kylie Stambaugh had five saves and midfielder Blair Goodman had a block on defense, but the Gator offense continued to score as Brooks Day scored two fourth quarter games along with a goal from Alyssa Dunnigan to preserve the Gator win.

Perry Hall started the season 0-3 but have won four out of their last five. They play at Dulaney today.
Sparrows Point falls to 2-6 and plays Western Tech today.
