Perry Hall’s defense was strong in the first half. Gator defensive tackle Shawn Hatfield forced Parkville into an intentional grounding call in the end zone for a safety; Perry Hall also stopped the Knights on fourth down at the goal line early in the first half: senior Daesuan Wilson and had an interception to end another Knight drive.

Despite falling behind 9-0, Parkville’s defense kept the team in the game. Trey Chaffin and Miguel Gray had sacks for the Knights.

Jayden Epps recovered a fumble for Parkville near the Perry Hall goal line and that set up a Isaiah Palmer rushing touchdown. Palmer had two touchdowns and had over 100 rushing yards on the night.

The Knights were down 9-8 at the half but special teams miscues cost the team. Parkville forced a Perry Hall punt after a third down stop but a roughing the punter penalty was called on Parkville.

Perry Hall also recovered an onside kick. Both Knight mistakes led to Gator touchdowns and a 29-8 deficit.

Senior Quarterback Darrell Grissom led Parkville to two touchdown drives in the second half.-

Parkville quarterback Darrell Grissom led the Knights on two scoring drives that resulted in touchdowns. One of those touchdowns was from a 70-yard pass to wide receiver K’shawn Wallace.
