Robb Johnson is returning to the area as he has been named the new coach for the Perry Hall High football team.
The school released a statement on social media.
“The Perry Hall High School Athletics Program is excited to announce our new Head Varsity Football Coach. Welcome, Coach Johnson! We are happy to have you join our Gator family!”
Johnson spent the past two seasons at Delaware State University as the team’s running backs coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
Johnson is well known in the eastern Baltimore County football community. He was a quarterback at Overlea High School and was named the first-ever Mount Carmel football coach in 2010.
He takes over for former Gator coach Ryan Pittillo, who led the team to the state semifinals during the past two seasons.
