Dangerous heat wave expected through weekend

National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington reports indices up to 110F today along with a chance for an isolated thunderstorm this evening over northeastern Maryland.

Have a plan to stay cool this week: stay hydrated, dress in lightweight/loose clothing when possible, and check in with family and friends to make sure they’re staying safe from the heat.

Record high temperatures are expected for the next few days and into the holiday weekend

Baltimore County has provided a website to deal with the heat.
