National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington reports record high temps are expected to continue through Wednesday.
A strong cold front will cross the area Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning bringing strong to severe t-storms.
Additional rain chances and a 30 degree drop in temperature is expected late week.
