The National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington reported a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 3 p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. on Monday.
Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Locally higher amounts near 12 inches are possible in northeast Maryland.
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
