The Baltimore County Council unanimously passed Councilman David Marks’s bill that would allow for a technical trade school in White Marsh at its legislative session on Oct. 7.
Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 486 is seeking to repurpose the arena at 5811 Allender Road in White Marsh, which requires a legislative change.
“I am delighted to support this change which will help train our next generation of laborers and provide good jobs for men and women in Maryland,” commented Councilman Marks. “Local 486 has an outstanding record and this is common sense legislation we should embrace.”
