MDE to Hold Meeting for Proposed Crematorium Site in White Marsh

Councilman David Marks announced that the Maryland Department of the Environment will host an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 24 at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company and the topic is the proposed crematorium for the Evans Funeral Chapel for the site at 11543 Philadelphia Road in White Marsh.

“Since this plan was unveiled, I have done my best to keep the community informed and take steps to minimize the impacts on businesses and neighborhoods. MDE must approve the proposal for the crematorium to operate,” Marks said about the meeting.
