Road Work Set for Pulaski Highway in White Marsh Next Week

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration announced the patching sections of asphalt pavement along two miles of US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between Days Cove Road and the Harford County line at Little Gunpowder Falls in White Marsh will begin on Monday, March 10.

The project is expected to be completed in early April, weather permitting.

Starting Monday, crews will work weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists can expect single- lane closures in both directions of US 40 while work is taking place. Contractor Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium will use temporary traffic signs, cones and barrels to guide motorists through the work zone.

The $1.6 million project is part of an areawide contract to patch and resurface pavements on primary State highways in Baltimore County.

The State Highway Administration works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes.
