Perry Hall & Dundalk Remain Undefeated Before Next Week’s Game

-Perry Hall and Dundalk (pictured from 2022) both go into next week’s game undefeated-

All weekend football games were played on either Thursday or on Monday. The results started off slow as five local schools combined to go to 0-5 on Thursday, but the four other teams on Monday went 3-1. Here are some of the results.

Randallstown 36 Patapsco 14
Patapsco was looking to go 2-1 after a win last week at Parkville, but Patapsco fell short to Randallstown. Patapsco will look to get back to .500 when they play at Sparrows Point next week.

Milford Mill 59 Kenwood 0
The Bluebirds were off to a 2-0 start and were looking forward to the challenge of facing a road test against defending state 2A Champion Milford Mill Unfortunately, Kenwood was easily defeated. The Bluebirds will look to bounce back next week vs. North Harford.

Dulaney 27 Eastern Tech 0
It was not a good day for Essex schools as all three went winless and Eastern Tech joined Kenwood as they were shutout 27-0 against Dulaney. It has been a tough season for the Mavericks as they are still winless on the year. Tech will look for their first win on the road at Towson next week.

Lansdowne 22 Chesapeake 8
Chesapeake was the only Essex school to score a touchdown this week, but they are also 0-3 after losing at home to Lansdowne. The Bayhawks will try to get in the win column at home against Loch Raven next week.

Hereford 21 Parkville 12
Parkville dropped to 1-2 but played hard in one of the toughest environments in the county at Hereford. The Knight will try to get back to .500 next week against New Town.

Dundalk 40 Woodlawn 0
The Owl’s offense look shaky from the first two games, but Dundalk got on track and improved to 3-0 by beating Woodlawn. The Owls host Perry Hall on Friday at 7 p.m.

Perry Hall 45 Franklin 7
Perry Hall got off to a 2-0 start, but proved they are for real with a 45 to 7 win over state power Franklin. The Gators are 3-0 and play at Dundalk on Friday.

Sparrows Point 16 Loch Raven 8
The Pointers are 3-0 after a win against Loch Raven. Sparrows Point looks to go 4-0 against rival Patapsco this week.

Towson 29 Overlea 22
The Falcons drop to 1-2 after a home loss to Towson. Overlea is at Owings Mills next week.
