Officer S. Burchett has been named Essex Police Precinct Officer of the Month of May. Here a statement released from the precinct:
“When dispatched to a shots fired call, Officer Burchett and other officers took the necessary safety precautions
“Through his investigation, Officer Burchett was able to locate the initial weapon and several others.
“The suspect was arrested, preventing a danger situation from further escalating.
“Thank you Officer Burchett. Well done!”
