Stolen Vehicle Involved in Essex Crash

Baltimore County Police are seeking information about a stolen vehicle that was involved in an Essex crash on Thursday.

A driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt was double parked in the 900 block of Bayner Road in Essex on Feb. 16 around 10:15 p.m

As the driver of the Cobalt was speaking with two pedestrians, the Cobalt was struck from behind by a Silver 2015 Ford Escape that had been reported stolen from the unit block of Marice Circle on February 13 in Baltimore County.

As the driver of the Ford Escape fled the scene, the vehicle became disabled and the driver then fled on foot. Both pedestrians (adult man and juvenile) as well as the adult male driver of the Cobalt were injured in the crash and taken to area hospitals.

While the two adults sustained minor injuries, the juvenile sustained serious injuries.

Anyone with any information in reference to the occupants of the recovered stolen Ford Escape please contact the Baltimore County Crash Team at 410-887-5396. The vehicle pictured below is not the actual vehicle.
