The North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department reported its crews along with other units from the lower East side battled a marsh fire with extension to a barge on Thursday afternoon.
Units were called to the marina at Creek and Bayfront Roads in Edgemere around 2:30 p.m.
It was reported that crews were about to get the fire under control after 90 minutes.
