It was a scary scene at Vincent Farm Elementary School in White Marsh as the school was evacuated after a malfunctioning air conditioning unit on Wednesday.
The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported its crews arrived at the school for an HVAC related issue around 10:15 a.m.
It was reported that a pipe ruptured,leaking fluid and produced a haze. The school evacuated the building as a precaution.
Students were safe outside and moved to shady areas during the investigation.
The Baltimore County Fire Department reported crews identified and isolated a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. Students returned to the building around 11:15 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
