Patapaco High School is mourning the loss of one of its students.
According to an obituary from Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk,
Gordon Edward Thorpe, passed away on May 4, 2026, at the young age of 19.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in his memory and the page stated the Patapsco senior was walking home from school and suffered a medical emergency near Gen. John Stricker Middle School on Trappe Road.
The page added he was scheduled to graduate in a few weeks and recently attended the Patapsco prom.
