City students learn about aviation at Martin State Airport

Last week,  50 students from Baltimore City learned about general aviation services available at airports like Martin State Airport, including corporate aviation, law enforcement, and flight schools.

The Baltimore City students participatied in the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Summer Youth Initiative.

Harold Fowler, Chief of Martin State Airport Operations and Maintenance, spoke with the students about the airport and the types of careers available.

 

The students are spend the week meeting with airport leaders and participating in activities to learn about the wide-range of career opportunities in aviation.   

They stopped by Martin State Airport on Thursday.
