Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has been endorsed by the Teachers Association of Baltimore County.
“You have been recommended by the Teachers Association of Baltimore County for the 2026 election cycle!” wrote TABCo President Kelly Olds.
“We appreciate you participating in our interview process and are looking forward to a partnership with you throughout the election season and moving forward.”
Councilman Marks is the first special education teacher elected to the Baltimore County Council.
He was the deciding vote to enact bipartisan reforms of the ordinance that regulates development in school districts, and he successfully pushed for three new schools, a renovation of Pine Grove Middle School, and air conditioning of schools throughout the Eastside.
“Our endorsement by TABCO is more proof that we’re the only campaign that builds bridges across party lines and among diverse groups,”
Councilman Marks commented. “Our campaign is endorsed by police, firefighters and paramedics, the Sierra Club, and now Baltimore County’s educators. I’m honored and proud to be the teacher-endorsed candidate for Baltimore County Council in District 7.”
