Dundalk Man Dies From Harold Road Fire

A 49-year-old man trapped in a Nov. 19 dwelling fire in Dundalk has died.

The victim has been identified by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as Anthony Polsino.

He was pronounced dead on Nov. 22 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Cause and manner of death are pending by the OCME.

Career and Volunteer units were dispatched at 6:46 p.m. on Nov. 19 for a dwelling fire with rescue in the 7800 block of Harold Road in Dundalk

First-arriving crews found an active fire on the second floor.

Firefighters found the victim on the second floor in cardiac arrest and rescued him from the building.

Medical personnel transported him in critical condition to the Burn Center at Bayview.

A second patient was transported with non life-threatening injuries.

BCoPD fire investigators determined that this accidental fire was caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.
