The following article is from Clean Bread and Cheese Creek about their cleanup over the weekend
On Saturday, April 5th, Clean Bread and Cheese Creek Community Cleanups had over 40 incredible volunteers work very hard today at our Spring Bread and Cheese Creek Cleanup!
Together they removed a dump truck and a full of trash from the stream including one shopping cart, three bikes, a mattress, two plastic 55 gallon drums, and over 200 bags of trash.
We also removed dead trees and rotting wood clogging the storm drains tunnels along bread and Cheese Creek!
We wish to thank our incredible volunteers from Boy Scouts, the Battle Monument school and the community!
We also wish to thank Baltimore County Highways and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for all their support.
This monumental effort was done completely by volunteer who care about our community and the Environment with absolutely no pay or funding! thank you so very much everyone for all your hard work!
