The North Point – Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department is collecting items for hurricane victims in North Carolina on Friday 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 1 to 3 p.m. at its 7500 North Point Road location in Edgemere.
Items needed include:
* Backpacks and duffel bags
* Blankets and sheets
* Soap, toothbrushes, deodorant
* Gallon jugs of water, or 5-gallon containers with handles
* Lanterns, batteries, and mobile phone chargers
* Small propane canisters
* Clorox wipes, Tylenol, Motrin, bandages, water buckets sanitizers etc…
* Non-perishable food and snacks
* Toiletries, cleaning supplies
Diapers, formula, baby
* Trash bags
* Flashlights
* Anything related to camping/survival gear.
