Blood Drive at White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company

White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company and the American Red Cross are hosting an upcoming blood drive.

The event will be held at the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, 10331 Philadelphia Road in the Community Room on Saturday March 8 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Make an appointment

Due to winter storm cancellations, donors of all blood types are urgently needed to give now. Right now, the Red Cross is distributing blood products to hospitals faster than donations are coming in. Without more blood donors now, hospitals may not have the blood needed to save lives. Eligible donors with type O, A negative and B negative blood are urged to make a Power Red Donation! Please click on the link above or call 1-800 RED CROSS (733-2767) to schedule your lifesaving donation! Donors can save time by using RapidPass to begin their health history. For more information, visit: redcrossblood.org/RapidPass. Eligibility questions call: 1-866-236-3276.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
