The 2025 BCPS Black History Month Writing Contest winners were announced. Nearly 90 students from 43 schools participated.
Emily Pahilanga, Grade 8, Pine Grove Middle School and Reagan Nicole Dunn, Grade 2, Red House Run Elementary School were two of the winning entries.
The Education Foundation of BCPS sponsored the 2025 contest and provided a $75 prize for each of the winners. Those recognized with honorable mentions will receive certificates of achievement.
