Kathy Klausmeier is the new interim Baltimore County Executive.
She was selected by the Baltimore County Council to replace outgoing County Executive John Olszewski, who is now a member of Congress
Klausmeier is a Perry Hall resident and the state Senator from District 8.
The Democrac’s political career began in 1994 when she was elected to the House of Delegates. Klausmeier was elected to the senate in 2003.
She will serve the rest of Olszewski’s remaining term until December 2026.
