Olszewski Officially Submits Letter of Resignation

Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski officially submitted his letter of resignation.

He was elected as a member of Congress for the 2nd District on Nov. 5. His term starts in January.

I’s been an honor of a lifetime to serve as Baltimore County Executive. Thank you,” Olszewski wrote on Twitter.

“Together we truly have built a better Baltimore County,.” Olszewski’s letter to the County Council is below.

 

Baltimore County Council announced that 12 candidates applied for the vacancy for County Executive. The list includes: Jim Brochin, Jon S. Cardin, Yara A. Cheikh, Gregory A. Dennis, Paul Drutz-Hannahs, Tara E. Ebersole, William M. Huhn, Katherine A. Klausmeier, Aris Melissaratos, George Perdikakis, Sr., Tom Quirk and Barry F. Williams.
