Water Main Replacements Scheduled for Parkville/Overlea

Baltimore County Department of Public Works & Transportation released a statement about two water main replacements in the Hillendale Park and Loch Raven Heights areas and the Fullerton and Overlea areas.

Baltimore County Department of Public Works & Transportation is starting construction on two water main replacements in District 6. Water main replacements are important work to keep our water distribution system in good shape to deliver high quality water to homes and businesses, and to prevent future inconveniences of water main breaks.

In the areas of Hillendale Park and Loch Raven Heights, 27,300 feet of water main will be replaced over the next three years.

In the areas of Fullerton and Overlea, 21,300 feet of water main will be replaced over the next 2.5 years.

Crews will be working in small sections of the construction areas at a time, and in those sections, there will be limited parking and some lane closures and flagging during work hours (7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday).

When the new water main is installed and ready to connect into the system, short scheduled water outages will occur overnight and with ample notice to the affected properties.
