Marks: “3rd Community Meeting Planned for Honeygo Blvd. corridor”

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced today that the Department of Public Works and Transportation will hold a third – and likely final – community meeting to solicit input on options to improve safety along the Honeygo Boulevard corridor.

Attendees will be able to speak with DPWT staff and provide feedback regarding which option they prefer.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Perry Hall High School, 4601 Ebenezer Road.

“Since last summer, we have held three community meetings to describe different ways to improve safety along this corridor,”  Marks said.

“Residents have asked for the traffic counts to be updated.   The most recent count now shows that the intersection of Honeygo Boulevard and Cross Road now qualifies for a signal or a circle, but the intersection of Gunpowder Farm Road and Honeygo Boulevard also qualifies for a light.  There are three options, therefore, on the table.”

Marks added that he encourages all residents to attend.
