For decades, residents of Eastern Baltimore County have dealt with the consequences of mismanagement at the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant—including pollution, persistent odors, environmental concerns, and impacts on our quality of life and property values.
This cannot continue.
I will be announcing two town hall meetings—one in Essex and one in Dundalk—to bring homeowners and residents together to discuss the problems at Back River and what legal, regulatory, and legislative actions can be taken to demand accountability.
Our families deserve clean air, clean water, safe communities, and protection of our property values.
It’s time for accountability. It’s time for action.
