Wade has nine vote lead over McCluskey in council race

Another round of mail-in ballots have been counted in Baltimore County on Thursday.

None of the latest mail-in ballots have shifted any races as some leading candidates have slightly extended their leads and others saw an insignificant decreased in their vote total over their opponents.

There was one exception in the County Council District 8 Democratic primary race.

Arkia Wade now has an 11-vote margin over Mark McCluskey in the Dundalk/Edgemere district.

Wade was winning the race 999 to 979 after Early Voting, Election Day and the first round of mail-in ballots.

Now Wade is winning 1227 votes to McCluskey’s 1216 votes.

It appears all mail-in ballots have been counted and only provisional ballots need to be counted.

Republican Tim Fazenbaker will take on the Democratic winner in November.

Fazenbaker was already declared the winner of the Republican primary in District 8 on Tuesday and he extended his lead after the latest round of mail-in ballots.
