Rosedale RAC Center to Open This Fall

A community input meeting was held for the new Rosedale RAC Center public input meeting.

The 14,000 sq ft RAC Center will be opens in the fall.

According to Councilman Mike Ertel the center will feature an E-gaming/sports theme throughout the building with a designated E-gaming suite.

“There will be an indoor gymnasium utilizable for a wide variety of sports, like volleyball and pickleball, and an outdoor basketball is currently being constructed to open soon after,” Ertel said on social mediz.

The hours will be Monday-Saturday 9 to 9.p.m
& Sunday 10 to 6 p.m

Ertel added this center is a great asset for the community

“It’s important to have facilites, such as the Rosedale RAC Center to gather, play, and create, to foster a strong sense of community and appreciation for the people around us. It was great to see all the people who attended the meeting to offer support and feedback,” Ertel said.

“I am excited for this new, fresh space that will help make the recreational center a strong pillar of the community. A huge thanks to Delegate Carl Jackson who was a key contributor in the development of this project, and County Parks and Rec Director Bob Smith.”
