Arvin Singh of Eastern Tech High School was named the Mildred H. Murray male student athlete scholarship winner for 2026.
The senior was a track star at the school.
Singh joins the BCPS female winner Mary Murphy of Carver.
Both were selected from Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) to receive the prestigious honor, which celebrates senior student-athletes for their academic excellence and varsity sports participation.
They each receive a $10,000 scholarship that was presented by the BCPS Office of Athletics at a ceremony on Wednesday evening.
Lacey Schleig of Sparrows Point High School was a Murray winner in 2025.
This has been a successful year for Eastern Tech as Isaac Klos, was named MPSSAA Minds in Motion Scholar-Athlete Scholarship.
