Eric Eiswert Named New Principal at Sparrows Point Middle

Baltimore County Public Schools announced that Eric Eiswert has been named new principal at Sparrows Point Middle School. Eiswert takes over for Mary Boswell-McComas, who left the school to take over as superintendent at Kent Conty Public Schools.

Eiswert was the principal at Pikesville High School and has over 20 years of experience in education from a principal, assistant principal and a teacher.

Eiswert was involved in a story that made national headlines when Baltimore County Police reported he was a victim of an AI case.

Larissa Santos BCPS Executive Director of Secondary Schools, Eric Eiswert announced that Eiswert will take over on July 1.

“Mr. Eiswert will work with me to schedule opportunities to meet and greet staff and families over the summer,” Santos wrote in a letter to the SPMS community.
