Henn Releases Statement About BCPS Milk

BCPS Board of Education Chair Julie Henn released a statement about the chocolate and strawberry milk that it being used in Baltimore County Public Schools.

“Cloverland Farms Dairy, Baltimore County Public Schools’ milk vendor, recently informed school districts across the state about a production issue impacting chocolate and strawberry milk. They have halted production of both chocolate and strawberry milk and have asked school systems to remove these items from service. BCPS will only provide students with white milk until the vendor has resolved this issue,” Henn said in a statement.

“Cloverland Farms Dairy has assured us that while the chocolate and strawberry milk currently does not meet quality standards, it would not create adverse health effects for students who may have consumed the product before it was pulled from service.
BCPS will provide additional information as it becomes available.”
