CCBC Essex Wins First Title in Women’s Basketball

CCBC Essex Woman’s basketball won its first ever national title with an overtime win over Richard Bland out of Virginia in the NJCAA Division II title game.

The team is coached by Mike Seney.

The Lady Knights were led in the title game by Tyler Gray’s career high 27 points and eight rebounds.

Faith Blackstone also had 27 points and was named tournament MVP. Anasia Station was named to the all tournament along with Gray and Blackstone.

The championship game was played at St. Clair Community College in Port Huron, MI.
