Dundalk, Perry Hall, Sparrows Point Parkville, Overlea and Chesapeake football teams are 1-0 after winning their opening games.

Overlea 22 Patapsco 14
Overlea running back Da’von Shell had a 65-yard touchdown run as the Falcons start 1-0 with a 22-14 win over Patapsco.

Perry Hall 34 Manchester 6

The Gators made it to the 4A State Semifinals last year before losing to Mervo. The Gators went undefeated during the regular season and started off with a blowout win at home against Manchester.

Dundalk 36 Crafton 6
Dundalk sneaked out a 10-7 win at home against Crafton in 2023. This year they went on the road and destroyed Crafton 36-6. Dundalk hosts New Town in their season opener next week,

Loch Raven 48 Eastern Tech 6
Eastern Tech went winless in 2023 and the team is off to another slow start as they lost at home to Loch Raven 48-6. The Mavericks play at Sparrows point this Friday.

Parkdale 16 Kenwood 14
Kenwood defeated Parkdale 14 to 8 on the road in 2023 but Parkdale returned the favor as they defeated the Bluebirds at home to start the 2024 season.

Bishop Ireton 27Mount Carmel 23
Mount Carmel started off 1-0 after beating Annapolis Christian 34-0 but went on the road to Virginia and loss to Bishop Ireton.

Parkville 30 Woodlawn 8
Parkville started off 1-0 with a 30-8 dominant win over Woodlawn. The Knights will look to go 2-0 against Patapsco on Friday

Sparrows Point 33 Towson 6
Sparrows Point was only one of four local teams to win a playoff game. They started off strong after beating Towson on the road. The Pointers host Eastern Tech this week.

Chesapeake 24 Carver 22
The Bayhawks are 1-0 after beating Carver of Baltimore City at home. Chesapeake looks to go 2-0 as they host Catonsville this week.
