The following article and photo was released by One Tech Boosters that Eastern Tech wrestler Morgan Linton became an All American at a national wrestling tournament.
“This weekend a group of Eastern Tech Wrestlers made their way to Virginia Beach VA. The goal was to become a High School All American.
On Saturday night Morgan Linton would claim her place in history as the first NHSCA High School All American at ET. On Sunday afternoon she would stand on the podium taking fourth place in her first national level wrestling tournament. This was not an easy feat and we couldn’t be more proud to call her our first All American.
With that said we need to recognize this group that made the trip. Ali Franze, Mackenzie Jones, Arianna King, Mason Chesnavage, Chase Ullmann, and Ariana Carnahan all stepped up to the challenge.
Nearly all these wrestlers had anywhere between 32 to 128 other athletes in their divisions. Some of the best wrestlers in the country were their opponents.

I’d like to also single out the effort of Ariana Carnahan. Ariana fell one round away from being an All American. Battered and bruised she fought through multiple state champions from other states.
Over two days she left with a record of 5-2. You most certainly should be holding your head up high today Carnahan.”
