Suspect Found Dead After Dundalk Barricade Situation

Baltimore County Police reported a suspect is dead after the barricade situation in Dundalk this morning.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Gray Manor Terrace in Dundalk on Tuesday around 7:30 a.m. in reference to a prior firearms discharge.

As officers were investigating that call, they began to be fired upon by a nearby resident.

Officers returned fire and called for a barricade.

During the incident, the armed subject was found deceased inside the home suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Representatives from Harford County, Baltimore City, Maryland State Police, the ATF, and FBI assisted in bringing closure to this incident.

This remains part of an ongoing investigation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

No officer or member of the public was injured during this incident.
