Parkville High boys lacrosse coach receives national honor

The Parkville High Athetic Booster Club announced long time boys lacrosse coach John Cooper has received Gerald J. Carroll Exemplary Coaching Award. The booster club released the following statement:

“Coach John Cooper has been named the recipient of the Gerald J. Carroll Exemplary Coaching Award by USA Lacrosse – a prestigious NATIONAL honor awarded to just ONE coach each year.

“Out of coaches across the entire country, Coach Cooper stands at the top.

“This recognition reflects years of leadership, dedication, and a lasting impact on players, the program, and the community. The standard has always been high – now it’s nationally recognized

According to his LinkedIn page, Cooper has been a lacrosse coach and a physical education at Parkville High since 1998.
