Parkville remains unbeaten after 15-0 win over Kenwood

Parkville baseball earned the top seed in the 4A North in 2025 and appeared on their way to the state quarterfinals, but they were upset by Kenwood last spring.

The Knights got some revenge on Wednesday as they won 15-0 at Kenwood.

Centerfielder Kiel Lewis had three hits and scored three runs for Parkville.

Parkville jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning added six more runs in the top of the second to bust the game open.

The Knights were led by Kiel Lewis who had three hits on the day including a three-run double in the second inning. Lewis also scored three runs for Parkville.

Tony Cooper across the plate to score another run for the Knights.

Elias Danik, Tony Cooper and Jude Turner all had big hits and each scored at least one run in the Parkville win.

Knight pitcher Jeff Samborski threw three scoreless innings with three strikeouts. He helped his cause at the plate with as he drove in two runs on a base hit in the fourth inning.

Kenwood’s Patrick Boblitz had two hits but was stranded at third.

Patrick Boblitz led the Bluebirds with two hits. Matt Brooks also had a base hit late in the game.

Josh Lanza came on in relief for Kenwood and recorded three strikeouts.

Parkville improves to 10-0 on the season and are in position to become the top seed again in the the 4A North Region.
