Perry Hall Girls Soccer Advances to State Semifinals

Perry Hall High Girls Soccer team is now two wins away from another state title as the Gators defeated Eleanor Roosevelt 2 to 1 High School in the 4A State Quarterfinals. The game was played in Greenbelt on Friday night.
Perry Hall was reseeded 8th and Roosevelt was the top seed.

According to the MPSSAA website, Perry Hall was 2-7-2 during the regular season and now has four playoff wins.

Perry Hall started off the playoffs with a 10 to 0 win over Western and won on the road at Dundalk 13 to 0. The Gators captured the 4A North Title at Kenwood with a 3 to 0 over the Blue Birds. Gabriella Colon, Tayla Crowder, and Reese Pinnell scored goals for the Gators in the Regional Title Game.

The Gators will now play Blair High School in the state semifinals. The team is looking for its first state title since 2019.
