Teams Wrap Up Football Regular Season

In the final week of the regular season, Overlea and Kenwood get much-needed wins, Eastern Tech and Sparrows Point have setbacks, and Perry Hall get a free win.

Dundalk 12 Patapsco 0
Dundalk finished the regular season 8-1 with a win over rival Patapsco 12 to 0. The Owls will look for another run at a state title. They have a bye and will play the winner of the Woodlawn-Kenwood game in the first round of the 4A-3A playoffs. Patapsco started off 5-0 but loss four straight. The Patriots will look for their first playoff win at Edgewood.

New Town 48 Eastern Tech 0
The Mavericks five-game winning streak was snapped as they got blown out at New Town 46-0. Tech is still 6-3 on the season and will play at Owings Mills in the first round of the 2A playoffs.

Overlea 18 at Sparrows Point 8
Overlea ended a disappointing regular season with a road win at Sparrows Point. The Falcons are 3-6 but have won two straight going into the playoffs. Overlea plays at New Town this Saturday. Sparrows Point had won six of seven before the Overlea game and is still 6-3 on the year. They open up the playoffs at home against Chesapeake, a team they defeated 32-20 two weeks ago.

Perry Hall 2 Chesapeake 0 forfeit
This game was canceled, and Perry Hall was declared the winner as a result of a forfeit. The Gators host Woodlawn in the first round of the 4A-3A playoffs. The Gators are seeded second in that region and have a chance to meet Dundalk in the regional finals.

Kenwood 30 Towson 7
The Bluebirds are starting to get hot after slow start. They have won three of four and host Dulaney in the first round of the 4A-3A playoffs.

Milford Mill 56 Parkville 0
Parkville wrapped up their season after a blow out loss to Milford Mill. In fairness, Milford Mill is undefeated and have won every game by at least 30. The Knights are 2-7 but still made the playoffs and will play at Glen Burnie in the 4A first round.
