Baltimore County Crash Team detectives responded to the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale in reference to a pedestrian crash.
Once on scene, detectives determined 88-year-old John Lohmeyer was struck by a 2019 Jeep Cherokee as he was attempting to cross Pulaski Highway on Thursday around 7:30 p.m.
Paramedics pronounced Lohmeyer deceased on scene. This crash remains part of an ongoing investigation.
