Eastern Tech Evacuated After Smoke Smell

Eastern Tech High School was evacuated on Wednesday morning.

Around to an email, the members of the school staff noticed a smoke smell in the building around 10:25 a.m.

The school was evacuated, and the Baltimore County Fire Department (BCFD) was called to the scene.

The BCFD investigated and allowed students and staff to return to the building at approximately 10:48 a.m. Classroom instruction resumed as normal.

A similar situation was reported at Perry Hall Middle School an hour earlier on Wednesday and an odor was also reported at Perry Hall High School last week.
