A Volkswagen was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway approaching Berk Avenue when a pedestrian entered the roadway on Monday, Feb. 18 at 6:35 a.m.
The Volkswagen and a dump truck both struck the pedestrian. And each driver remained at the scene.
As a result of the crash, the pedestrian, 32-year-old Andrew M. Nelson, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This investigation is still ongoing.
