Police Investigating Road Rage Shooting on I-95

Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night along northbound I-95 in Baltimore County.

According to the preliminary investigation, a dispute between the drivers of a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck and a dark sedan began at approximately 10:20 p.m. near the outer loop of I-695 at Exit 15 (US 40).

The investigation indicates the dispute continued to northbound I-95 (near mile point 49.5). The initial investigation suggests the driver of the dark sedan shot at the Ford pickup truck near the entrance to the northbound I-95 Express Toll Lanes (near mile point 60.5). The driver of the Ford pickup truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

This is an open and ongoing investigation. The MDTA Police Criminal Investigations Unit continues to collect and review evidence. Any witnesses or persons who observed suspicious activity or the described vehicles along I-695 or I-95 are asked to contact the MDTA Police at 443-915-7729.
