The Essex Community Tree Lighting is returning again this holiday season and will be held by the Essex Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River, Inc. at 516 Eastern Blvd. in Essex on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event is free and will include Santa, a DJ, gifts for kids, fire trucks and more. The event is still looking for sponsors.
